In the Zoo there is a little train that goes through the zoo and down into Wasthington Park. We had a great time with Bella and Grammy got a lot of amazing pictures.

If you didn't know, Isabella is growing up at a rapid rate and she now is not only crawling, but clapping and waving! It is hard to keep up with how much she is changing all of the time.

Visit to Colombia River Gorge

We went for a day trip while mom was visiting to the Colombia River Gorge, which is about and hour away from where we like in Tigard. The views that we saw were like no other! This was lookout point on our way to the falls, that allows you to see 30 miles in all directions up and down the Colombia River.

These two pictures are of the first set we went to called the Bridal Veil Falls. It was a little hike to get there, but once we arrived these are the spectacular sights we saw! There is no way that after seeing these falls that anyone could tell me that there isn't a God.

There are a few people who helped us move up to Portland and stayed with us a few days after arriving. They had the joy of seeing the house before we added any of the standard Leatherman touches. The bathroom looked like a camp bathroom when we moved in, but since them we have painted and mad it look substantially better. Here are a few pics of the updated bathroom.

Portland Rose Garden

The Portland Rose Garden is in Washington Park, which is a massive park on the outskirts of Downtown Portland. I had a day off from work and we decided to check out the Rose Garden with Bella.

Isabella liked the Roses so much that she thought that she wanted to try them. The sad part is that Stacy is holding her and letting her eat them!

Play Date

After working at Starbucks now for about four weeks, a few of the other parents I work with got together for a play date with all of our kids. It was a great time to hang out and get to know them a little better. Here is Isabella in the swing...She loves to swing!

This beautiful tree is right out the kitchen window and it smells great.

Not only that, but something tells me we aren't in California anymore. Stacy took this picture looking out the kitchen window in our backyard. There are two of them that have come through to eat in our backyard a few times.

This was an amazing blessing that God brought to us! Of all of the houses that we could have rented and God gave us one that is owned by a Christian family. It is a 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath with two car garage, two porches (one off the back of the house and one large one on the top of the garage) and it is on 3/4 acre piece of land. And it is only $ 1,000.o0 per month! God is good!
